Letter to Me!

I hope as i am reading this some what years down the road that all hopes and dreams have come true (or at least partially.) I am 17 years old, 5'1. As of right now i am single. My dream right now is to go to South plains college and room with my best friend shelby. I want to be a sonogram tech. Right now graduating and leaving so many behind seems really hard, but i think i can do it. I honestly have no answers for all the questions i have running in my head, but as i read this in the future i hope i learn most of them. I hope to use this as a memory of my senior year. To remember the girls i run to (cassie long, Shelby Cook, and Ashley) To remember the first love (Tanner Gillem) and of course the heart break :( Where i worked (Dawson's- for 2 years) and how this town was so borrringg but yet we always find something to do. Also there is some questions i would like to ask myself... like how long did it take till i finally got completely over.... well i should know who goes there. and when and where did i finally find true lover? Did i ever become close to my family? So this is to me... in the future, but right now i dont want to think that far ahead im just gonna enjoy my senior year! :)

Coach Rhodes

So i haven't known Coach Rhodes for very long since i moved here my sophmore year but i was lucky enough to have him as a teacher when i first moved here. My favorite memory of Coach Rhodes would have to be when i first moved here about a week later we were sittin in class and Terrence Wright told me that he was going to tell Coach Rhodes it was my birthday so i could hear him sing so i went along with it Coach Rhodes sang to me and that was that. But then about a month later the class decides they want to hear him again so they again tell Coach Rhodes it was my birthday i go along with it and he starts to sing to me again, about half way through the song this time he stops suddenly and says wait wasn't it your birthday a month ago. haha yeah not very funny to yall but to me it was. I'll always remember how nice of a teacher he was when i first moved here which helps a new student out alot in the long run. I dont have him as a coach or teacher anymore so the only time i really get to see him is when he comes in to my work to eat! But rather i see him or dont he has left a big impression on my heart!

The Three Widows!

Once upon a time, in a far far away village there lived 3 widows who went by the name's Margret, Betty and Ann. All three ladies grew up in this same small town and were best friends since high school. So i know what your thinking, what is so different about these ladies, well lets just say they like to use magic! Also to be a widow that means you have to have been married and then your husband die, the question is how did these three ladies husband's die, and why wasn't there a funeral service for them?
It all starts on a bright and sunny day (which is weird cause most bad things happen on dark and stormy nights) but anyways, Margret, Betty and Ann were preparing their husband's lunch sacks for the day as the men got ready for work. (haven't caught on they all live together) Standing in the kitchen waiting by the door the ladies held out their husbands lunch as they ran down the stairs, kissed their wives, and headed out the door for work. After watching their husbands pull out of the drive, Margret turns to Betty and Ann with a sigh of relief. "Dont get me wrong i love Keith to death" says Margret "but sometimes it's like he is nothing but a robot. Sometimes i even think to myself how much happier, and richer at that, i would be without him." Saying that Betty turns to Ann and says how she thinks the same about Matthew. Realizing Ann has been left out she soon agrees about Michael. With all that said Margret gets an idea. She turns to the girls and says "that's it! We all love our husbands to death!!!"
The three girls spend the rest of their day mixing potions and practicing spells to make things short, simple and sweet. As the time gets closer to their husbands getting off they soon begin to start preparing super. They decide to make things really special for the guys tonight so they cooked a huge meal of everything possible that they knew their husbands liked. It was six o'clock on the dot as the guys pulled into the drive. "Right on time" says Betty to the girls. The men walk into the house surprised to see things different. The house smelled of sweet rich potatoes, the chairs were shinning and the table was set for three. Scared to ask questions the men set themselves at their usual spots and get ready to dig in. After Keith says the lords prayer the men of course dont hesitate and dig in, puzzled they look at the girls and ask why their not eating. Thinking of the first thing at hand Ann answers with "we spent all day preparing dinner for yall, not for us." After i few short seconds the men say ok and continue to eat. The girls then shoot each other a look, surprised to see how gullible the men were being today. It was minutes later when the men were finally done eating of course leaving no left overs. As they begin to stand up Michael realizes all of a sudden his stomach hurts. Then Matthew realizes his stomach hurts also. Tired and sick the two guys head off to bed as Betty and Ann follow behind to make sure their ok. Margret begins to clear the table surprised to see that keith is feeling just fine and helping clean up at that. The table is cleared and the dishes are put up when finally Betty and Ann come back down the stairs jumping and yelling for joy as the plan worked. Surprised to see Margret standing over the sink. Confused they run to Margret and ask what is wrong. Turning to the girls with a tear rolling a slight smirk on her face Margret answers with "your right girls the plan worked"
So what really happened? Did the three witches kill their husbands? Or was it some kind of freak accident? No one will ever really know, but the people of the small village smile and wave as the three widows walk by, knowing just maybe it pays off to stay on their good side!

Homecoming

So Homecoming is probably one of the coolest games we have (besides the senior game were gonna have lol) but anyways, homecoming is always filled with all sorts of memories but since i came to childress 2 years ago and missed my sophmore year homecoming i have only been to one here. It was all kinda new to me i mean not really being a new student cause i did pretty much know everyone but just being there for the first time, i mean really Hedley homecoming isn't really anything special and sure aint that big lol... So apparently homecoming is a big deal for childress i mean alot of ppl come to that game lol. But anyways Homecoming really was all fun i mean the games are always intense but still lol. I really hope since this year isn't gonna be like completely new to me things will be alot funner!!!
